Further information
In a single set, Dan Hannon ingeniously incorporated settings for events occuring over two days, including Maria's bedroom with a single bed and crucifix, the drugstore with soda fountain stools, and the back alley with trash cans.
"...the idea was that New York City got thrown up into the air, and this is how it landed." Hannon translated that notion with texture, rusty metal, space, and metaphor. "It is so naturalistic that it is abstract." - Dan Hannon
