Further information
This self-portrait by the great living Mexican artist shows the painter and printmaker with a drypoint needle in his hand. It is as if he is showing the viewer the process of making this very print. Toledo produced the print in an edition of 12 and gave most away to his close friends and associates. This impression is most likely the only one in a collection outside of Mexico.
