Further information
This bulto by santero Rafael Aragón is a traditional image of the Virgin of Guadalupe, with rays of light or fire radiating around her body. She holds her hands in prayer and stands on a moon above an angel that holds the Virgin's red gown and blue cape. This Virgin wears a necklace, a detail seen in other examples by Aragón.
