After beginning his career as an engineer, Steven Pippin became an artist in the late 1980s. Pippin builds his own cameras, frequently out of everyday objects, which he then uses to take photographs. The process of designing and building the camera - such as this solar-powered camera that can rotate 360 degrees - is as important to Pippin as the resulting images.
