Okay Mountain’s Prototypes series seductively presents everyday objects in unexpected combinations. Dramatically staged and lit, the images mirror commercial photography. Okay Mountain was a nine-member artist collective formed in 2006 and based in Austin, Texas. Working in a variety of media—sculpture, installation, video, and photography—their projects humorously critiqued consumer culture.
