Further information
Color, form, and texture create a harmonious balance in Ralph Humphrey's Untitled. The painting's surface is subtly covered with brushwork and evidence of a palette knife. When viewed from a distance, the painting appears to be fields of pure color, but upon closer inspection, the artist's hand is very much at work.
