San Antonio-based artist Chuck Ramirez died unexpectedly on November 6, 2010 at the age of 48. Ramirez was known for his striking color images of everyday objects set against stark white backgrounds. His work explored themes including cultural indentity, consumerism, and the ephemeral nature of life.
