This posting identification is erroneous. It suggests that this is the poster for the infamous original 1896 production, but it is actually for Lugné-Poe's 1922 revival production at the Théâtre de l'Oeuvre. The giveaway? The poster announces the King and Queen to be played by René Fauchois and Mlle. Pierly, but the original 1896 leads were Firmin Gémier and Louise France.
