Further information
Space in Parigi's stage design is measured and stately. This effect is appropriate for Prospero Bonarelli's tragedy about the Ottoman Empire's Suleiman the Magnificent. In the fifth act, Aleppo, Syria, erupts in violence and is engulfed in flames, disrupting the calm of Parigi's setting.
