Opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Produced by Glyndebourne Festival, Lewes, England, 1951.
A scream announces the Commedatore's statue's arrival to accept Don Giovanni's invitation to dinner. Plunged into darkness and gripped by the cold hand of the statue, Mozart's hero refuses to repent. Flames engulf the house and the sinner is dragged to hell.
