Further information
Modern and traditional, the flat is a melange of styles reflecting Lulu's nonconformist lifestyle and the middle-class values of her artist husband. The woodwork, drapery, and chandelier include Art Nouveau's sinuous curves. However, the room includes a late 1700s chair by the desk, and an overstuffed Victorian chaise longue.
