Further information
Into the Woods revisited fairytales, exploring their deeper meanings with adult wisdom and humor. Cinderella discovered her ball gown, and truths about wishes, in the magical tree on her mother's grave. Rapunzel's tower rose miraculously, telescoping 15 feet up from beneath the stage, to put the blond beauty out of reach of her many suitors and witch of a mother.
