Theatre production information
Musical with book and lyrics by John Latouche, and music by Jerome Moross. Produced at the Alvin Theatre, New York, 1954.
Known for the Olympic Mountains and Golden Delicious apples, Washington State is the setting for this spoof of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. Inspired by Mondrian's paintings, Jean and Bill Eckart created a tree that "flies" apart into Cubistic planes.
