Ballet with music by Igor Stravinsky and choreography by Michel Fokine. Produced by Diaghilev's Ballets Russes at the Theatre du Chatelet, Paris, 1911. Principal dancers included Vaslav Nijinsky as Petrouchka and Tamara Karsavina as the Ballerina.
In addition to the premiere, Benois designed ten other productions of Petrouchka, making dating of individual designs difficult.
